Motown Legends - The DRIFTERS - are coming to Marion

Motown legends, The Drifters, will perform Thursday, June 26, at the Williamson County Pavilion in Marion, home of the largest dance floor in Southern Illinois.

Known for such hits as "Under the Boardwalk", "Stand By Me", "This Magic Moment" and "Save the Last Dance for Me" The Drifters are guaranteed to entertain.

Seating will be festival style, which means first come first served. So grab your sweetheart and put on your dancing shoes because the Pavilion also has the area's largest dance floor.

Black Diamond Harley-Davidson proudly presents Smokey Lonesome in concert at 7:30 p.m.. Saturday, May 17 at the Williamson County Pavilion in Marion, Illinois, behind the Illinois Centre Mall.

Tickets are $20 and doors open at 6 p.m. This is festival type seating on a first-come first-serve basis.

Southern Illinois rising star Jordan Carter will open followed by South 70 who returns from their April 9th appearance in Marion.

UPDATE: The Smokey Lonesome, Mammoth Jack and Colt Prather concert scheduled for May 16 and been canceled. Smokey Lonesome will appear in concert the following night on May 17, along with South 70 and Jordan Carter.

Columbia Nashville artist Anderson is enjoying his current hit, “I Still Miss You,” from his forthcoming album, C’MON!. RCA’s Chris Young is currently in the studio working on his sophomore release and BNA’s The Lost Trailers have just released “Holler Back,” the new single from an album that will be released later this summer.

Black Diamond Harley-Davidson proudly presents American Idol-finalist Bucky Covington in concert along with special guests South 70 at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, at the Williamson County Pavilion in Marion, Illinois, behind the Illinois Centre Mall.

Tickets are $25.00 and doors will be open at 5:30 p.m. This is festival type seating event with seating on a first-come first-serve basis.

Bucky Covington is a native of Rockingham, N.C., who grew up listening to country music and taught himself to play guitar after graduating from high school. He worked in his family's auto body shop during the week and started playing in clubs in the Carolinas on the weekends. He and his twin brother, Rocky, auditioned for American Idol, and Bucky was chosen as a finalist in the 2006 season. He placed eighth in the competition, and the exposure helped him connect with Sawyer Brown's management company.

The band's lead singer, Mark Miller, produced Covington's studio sessions. Lyric Street Records will release his debut album later this year.
